Dein AufgabengebietYour area of responsibility

  • Objective: Leading and coordinating a vehicle development project for logistics and ensuring series-specific series support against the background of at least three years of project experience as project manager (1 complete project)
  • Creation of project plans/concepts and ensuring compliance in coordination with technical and/or main project managers and departments; if necessary, initiation of measures in case of deviations
  • Participation in the implementation of risk analyses
  • Development of proposals regarding project organization; selection of suitable employees in coordination with superiors and definition of tasks, rules and interfaces
  • Ensure compliance with assigned project budgets and distribution to subordinate functions (e.g. sub-project manager, etc.); initiate measures in case of deviations
  • Acting as an interface between internal/external parties involved
  • Ensure compliance with specified project key figures/goals
  • Analyze and evaluate changes (internal/external), participate in negotiations and ensure implementation
  • Preparation and review of project reports and presentations as well as final project documentation
  • Professional management of project staff and/or sub-project managers
  • Participation in the optimization/development of processes, systems and methods
  • Leading several specialized projects SCM with increased complexity with regard to the degree of novelty, increased time and cost pressure, as well as takeover projects or complex cooperation with competitors ("lead supplier")
  • Creation of logistics calculations for business planning and customer offers
  • Development of SCM and logistics structures (overall concept) from the suppliers to the plants and logistics functions involved and to the customers
  • Participation in location decisions; preparation of profitability calculations and decision matrices
  • Synchronization of all functional elements (information flow, goods flow) at the customer interface
  • Coordination of supply chain requirements and concepts including information and material flow with all relevant customer interfaces
  • Definition of the control concepts (e.g. throughput times, ranges, etc.)
  • Responsible for the conceptional elaboration and implementation of all logistics elements of
  • Plant structure planning with the specialist departments in the production networks
  • Planning the SC systems and ensuring implementation
  • Ensuring the logistical integration of suppliers
  • Co-decisions with the selection of suppliers and co-operation with make or Buy decisions
  • Creation of requirement specifications for LDL functions and co-decision in the selection process
  • Ensuring the use of the (global) transport network and, if necessary, establishing new transport relations
  • Clarification of the customs regulations / papers / systems necessary for the product from supplier to end customer with the appropriate specialist department
  • Ensure container/packaging concepts to suppliers, internally and to customers
  • Coordinating and implementing special spare parts service requirements in the overall process up to the customer (from SOP to far beyond EOP)
  • Development and installation of robust backup structures (SC emergency concepts) to limit risks
  • Ensuring customer supply in the implementation phase, including by coordinating compensation solutions in the event of cross-project start-up problems

Dein ProfilYour profile

  • University of Applied Sciences/University of Applied Sciences OR comparable education
  • 5 to 7 years work experience
  • Theoretical PM training and experience, at least 3 years
  • Willingness to travel between 20 and 40%
  • Experience with the customers Daimler and BMW is an advantage
  • Experience in the Just in Time and Just in Sequence environment is an advantage
  • Experience in the wiring harness environment is generally an advantage
  • Good knowledge of German and English
